朋友剛從香港回來，替我買了我一直渴望看到的書。等了幾個月，終於摸到真身。雖然皮裝封面給擦損了一角，有點心痛，但絕色捧在掌中，這點瑕疵就當鬼掩眼看不見吧。
餓了太久，今天就此別過，看色去也。

讀食，今年香港的冬天天氣比往年清朗，傳聞是因為南中國很多工廠倒閉，心裡很矛盾，喜歡天氣好，又不願見到愁苦的臉。
那本絕色我坐月子時孜爸買回來，特別有印象。

有個女藝人比人爆佢飲醉左d糗態

不過一飲醉左就會將平日壓抑既「豪氣」釋放出黎
然後我就唸起呢度一眾蠍子唔知係點架呢
我都買左, 睇左一半….

Remember the Chinese book you mentioned? “Pull over and ask for direction”–I have to say this is a lame translation from yours truly. I was able to find it in the library. Man, she was about 18 when she wrote it. I thought that was unbelievable, it was hard work I guess but still you can’t just attribute to hard work, she must be very talented. It goes to show that there are really early bloomers, and late bloomers and just never bloomers like myself. Both her parents are physicians so I guess the good genes must have passed down to her. Anyway, it took me a while to warm up to her style of writing and my reading skill doesn’t help anyway.
What I don’t get was the first part doesn’t really quite relate to the second and the last part of the story except for the female lead, at least that’s my take away from the story. Oh, the guy is pretty much a loser even until the very end. But overall, I think the narrative is pretty unique, full of imagery and beautifully written.
