Inasmuch as advanced as modern P&S are, they still can’t flip the JPG correctly. It still needs divine or at least human intervention to make it happen. Part of the reason I normally shoot landscape only, one less step to worry about. Plus, the TV, monitor and movie screens are all landscape any way (with phone screen being the exception), so I just get on with the landscape mode 99% of the time.
PS: Wong Kar Wai should hire you as a cinematographer … arty farty pictures are your new found forte, eh?
